Siri is the one of the amazing exclusive features from iPhone 4S. Everyone excited about it but as you know Siri can only work with Apple’s native iOS apps. So how do we use Siri to update facebook status? Well, there’s a way for that too. I just tried to use it with a proxy. Here is how

1. Log into your Facebook account and go to the Account settings, it should be found in drop down menu of your Facebook top bar.

2. Under Account settings > Mobile > Click on Learn more about using Facebook on your phone at Facebook Mobile.

3. After that you can see a web page with special email address that belong to your account.

4. Save that email address in your iPhone contact with the Facebook. And save it..

5. Now you can start using Siri to update Facebook. Double click on home screen to activate Siri then talk “Email Facebook about …….(your facebook status update as email subject)….” then talk something for message which will not show up on your Facebook wall. Then send it. and check out on your Facebook, it should be already published. That’s all.

Note that this method is the best way to work in Myanmar and you need to set up iPhone Mail app as this method use email to update Facebook status. For other countries where Facebook allow to update status with mobile SMS system. You can send update with SMS as well. Good luck..

Kod is a minimal code editor for Mac OS. Even though there are so many Mac based code editors out there, Kod comes out as super light weight editor and open-source. It supports over 65 languages with syntaxes highlight including HTML, CSS 3, PHP. Interface is look like Chromium with tabs support, Project based browsing and many features. Seems like a promising app to use for development. At lease worth to give it a try.

Initializr is an HTML5 template generator which is based on HTML5Boilerplate, a powerful HTML5 template created by Paul Irish and Divya Manian. But do not expect you could configure template layout with several columns like you already have idea in your mind. This can only generate standard template with jQuery preloaded or old browsers like IE6 fix. At lease, you can use it to make your own design from this sample files. I hope it will add some more features soon.

PostPost is a web app for FaceBook users who don’t want to miss any serious news on FaceBook. FaceBook is great social network and has great clean user interface but still I’m sure you will need PostPost in some case. PostPost can display your facebook messages, news llinks, videos and photos in simple and clean grid view based web page. It is magazine theme and you can see all in one place without having to reload any new page. It got refresh button and will refresh by Ajax technology. Really PostPost is a useful app and by using it, you won’t miss any news, events, photos anymore. It’s worth to try out.

Lubith is a web app that can generate wordpress (.org) themes by drag and drop WYSIWYG editor. Although it is still in beta state, it can generate complex and full featured wordpress theme in easy way. You don’t need to know any web tech or PHP to create it (no coding required).

Just fill up colors, logo, images, text box, fonts and drag the boxes alignment. Then you can generate wordpress theme, test it and finally you can download it in .zip file. It’s amazing web app and even that I’ve tried so many generator, I’m sure this one is the greatest WP generator I’ve ever seen. Check it out and it got forum and tutorials too.

I think most of you already seen iOS 4.3 multitasking gestures videos around the web. I was thought that could come with iOS 4.3 too. Last 3 days ago iOS 4.3 is out for everyone but unluckily Apple doesn’t allow to use those gestures feature. So it is still now available for only Developer Program Users. But still there is a solution to get gestures on everyones’ iPad. Here’s how ~

You don’t need to have Apple developer account to get this done. Just use your XCode programs (Version 3 or 4 is work. For me, I use version 3). You can download XCode from Mac AppStore with 4.99$. Open it up and go to the menu bar > Window > Organizer.

You will see Organizer is load up and connect your iPad. Then select your iPad > go to the Summary Tab and click “Use for Development”.

New pop up box will appear and asking you to enter Developer Account. But no need to do that just click “Cancel” and you’ve done.

Now go to the iPad > Setting > General and you will see “Multitasking Gestures” menu appear under side switch menu. That’s it. enjoy multitask gestures like pinch to Home Screen, swipe up to reveal multitasking bar and swipe left or right to switch apps. It won’t work on iPhone coz physically too small to work on. Just use iPad. It’s cool!! Isn’t?

If you’ve looked up my phone (if we’ve chance to meet each other), you will wonder about iPhone Games installed on my phone which can cost around 200$ bucks totally. I use my phone without jailbreak almost a year. And also I only bought iPhone apps less than 10. So How do I got those apps. Simply, I check the site called FreeAppADay.com and download premium apps as free.

Yesterday, I went to the Official Adobe CS5 Road Show at Suntec City, Singapore. A lot of people attended, If I’m not mistaken there would be over 1,000. Show started at 9:00am in the morning and then some Adobe Creative Suite Gurus presented new awesome features of CS5. First, Started with Terry White who is famous for his Adobe CS podcast and his tech blog called Terry’s Blog. Terry demonstrated InDesign CS5 tools, Illustrator variable width tool, Photoshop’s awesome features, HDR toning.

@ 11:00 am, We’ve got break time and I just walked around the sponsors and others’ booths to see some stuff like Wacom Intuos, Dell Tower Casing, laptop, Nvidia and HP. There was some PCs available for testing CS5. Then Another session was started around 11:30am. At that time, Greg Rewis started to cover amazing CS5 Web Premium features like Dreamweaver native support for WordPress, Drupal, Joomla. Photoshop’s Amazing Content Aware tool which is like AI tech really. And then he covered Photoshop to Flash, Flash Catalyst features. You know, I’m fan of Greg Rewis since I knew him from his book called Mastering CSS with Dreamweaver. I’m just glad that I’ve met Guru like him in real life.

Forgot to tell you that Greg Rewis gave me Adobe CS5 sport shirt. Isn’t that cool? I got it by answering his question. He asked the question to audience while he showing his web layout paragraph alignment problem which was 3 column layout and got problem in middle one. He asked what do you do if you face like that? And then I just shouted “I will use Firebug Inspector” then guess what he gave that shirt to me and said “Correct!!”. Then he started to point out one of the Dreamweaver CS5 features called “Inspector” which does exactly like Firebug’s one and the best part is you can edit live and old code will save as comment automatically. Honestly, I don’t use DreamWeaver, I’m just Coda guy. After I’ve seen those WP native support, Inspector support, Native Browser Lab support, I’m sure I’ll use Dw CS5 a lot of time. It can save a lot of time.

After lunch time break, Show was started again with Motion graphic, video editing Guru Jason Levine. Since I don’t know too much about video editing, I don’t know most of the jargon he talked. But it was great to see editing steps from guru like him. I went back to the home after his video editing techniques (around 3:30pm). I didn’t watch till closing and lucky draw program because I need to sleep for work. All I can say is that was great and successful show. I just learned a lot from those gurus. I hope I will have chance to meet again when CS6 is out in coming 2 years or more =P. Oh yeah, I just took some photos and videos with my old iPhone. Check it out!!

P.S ~ Forgot to tell you about that during Lunch Time Projectors are showing Wired iPad App which was built by using Adobe Flash to iPhone, iPad exporter. Actually, Apple has changed their App Store Terms after last month iPhone OS 4.0 Dev Preview Show. According to new App Store’s rule, Any apps or tools using 3rd party SDK, other languages except Cocoa Touch will be rejected. Including Flash CS5′s Flash to iPhone Exporter.

Some of my friends ask me that should they buy iPad? My answer is No. There’re so many reason not to buy an iPad. It doesn’t have camera, GPS like iPhone. Should wait until coming June 7 WWDC for new iPhone 4G hardware.

And as I titled this post, one more reason is I’ve seen iPad simulator SDK (Beta) shows Take Photo option in Address Book. So, It means iPad 2nd Generation will have Camera. If you’re using iPhone SDK 3.2 stable version, you’ll not see that option because Apple already removed it.
