It is a function available to most of the mobile phone abroad. Even you are out of your mobile provider network coverage, you can use your phone to call 000 or 999 or 911 etc. I am not sure that service is available in Myanmar. My old SE T610i used to have similar problem and I had to manually select my network again each time after the signal was lost. So, don't worry. Have fun with SE phones. Emg Call is Emergency Call.
