WordPress Vs Blogger
MBS Network မွာ ကိုမ်ိဳးေက်ာ္ထြန္း က WordPress Vs Blogger ဆိုၿပီး စ discussion စလုပ္လို႔ အဲဒီမွာ ေရးၿဖစ္တာေတြကို ဒီပို႔စ္မွာ ၿပန္ကူး ထည့္ထားၿဖစ္ပါတယ္။ WordPress Group မွာ မန္ဘာ ၄၀ ေလာက္ရွိေပမယ့္ ကြ်န္ေတာ္ကေမး ကိုမ်ိဳးေက်ာ္ထြန္းက ေၿဖနဲ႔ ေနာက္ဆံုး ကြ်န္ေတာ္တို႔ ၂ ေယာက္ပဲရွိလို႔ ေနာက္ပိုင္း အားမရွိလို႔ ေရာက္ေတာင္ မေရာက္ၿဖစ္ပါဘူး။ အခ်စ္အေၾကာင္းသြား ေဆြးေႏြးတာကမွ အလုပ္ ၿဖစ္ဦးမယ္ ထင္တယ္ 
… အဲဒီမွာေရးၿဖစ္တာေတြကို ဒီေန႔အတြက္ ပို႔စ္ထပ္တင္လိုက္ပါတယ္။ WordPress နဲ႔ Blogger/Blogspot ၿခားနားတဲ့ အခ်က္ေတြပါ။ စာဖတ္သူလဲ စဥ္းစားမိရင္ ကြန္မန္႔မွာ ထပ္ေရးသြားႏိုင္ပါတယ္။ ကြ်န္ေတာ္ update လုပ္ပါ့မယ္။ မူရင္းပို႔စ္ကို WordPress Vs Blogger မွာ ၾကည့္ႏိုင္ပါတယ္။
1. Blogger မွာ label(Category) ပဲပါတယ္ tag မရွိတဲ့ အတြက္ ေနာက္ပိုင္းမွာ label ေဖာင္းပြလာတာမ်ိဳးၿဖစ္တယ္ Technorati tag ထည့္လို႔ရေပမယ့္ တကယ္တန္းေတာ့ သိပ္အသံုးမ၀င္ဘူး SEO keyword မ်ိဳးအေနနဲ႔ပဲ သံုးလို႔ရတယ္… WP မွာ tag ပါေတာ့ tag cloud လုပ္လို႔ရသလို tag ကို အေၿခခံတဲ့ related posts လိုမ်ိဳးေတြ ထည့္လို႔ရတယ္…
2. Blogger မွာ Image ထည့္ရင္ alt, title နဂိုက ထည့္မေပးတဲ့ အတြက္ Image Search အတြက္ rank မရႏိုင္ဘူး.. ထည့္ခ်င္ရင္ ကုိယ့္ဘာသာ ထည့္ရင္ ရပါတယ္..
3. Blogger မွာ ကြန္မန္႔ထည့္ဖို႔ post page ကိုေရာက္ေနသည့္တိုင္ေအာင္ add comment ကိုႏွိပ္ၿပီး သြားရပါေသးတယ္ ပို႔စ္ေအာက္ကေနတိုက္ရိုက္ထည့္မရပါဘူး.. အခုေတာ့ ပို႔စ္ေအာက္မွာ တိုက္ရိုက္ထည့္ထားလို႔ရပါၿပီ (ကိုAndy Blog မွာ ဖတ္ႏိုင္ပါတယ္) ႏိုင္ငံၿခားမွာ ေနာက္ထပ္ page ကူးတာ ဘာမွမသိသာေပမယ့္ ၿမန္မာမွာက ဘန္းထားေတာ့ ေက်ာ္ဖတ္ၿပီး ကြန္မန္႔ေရးရတာ မလြယ္ပါဘူး. ေနာက္ တခ်ိဳ႕ ဘေလာခ့္ေတြက Blogger သံုးသူခ်င္းပဲ ကြန္မန္႔ေရးႏိုင္ေအာင္လုပ္ထားတာေတြလည္း ရွိပါတယ္.. ၿဖစ္ႏိုင္ရင္ Intense Debate, HaloScan လိုမ်ိဳးသံုးသင့္ပါတယ္.. သံုးမယ္ဆိုရင္ Gravatar ရၿပီး WP မွာ ၿပန္ထည့္ခ်င္လည္း လုပ္ရလြယ္တဲ့ Intense Debate ကုိ သံုးသင့္ပါတယ္.. ေနာက္ top commentator widget မ်ိဳးေတြလည္း ရွိပါတယ္..
4. Blogger မွာ Image ေတြတင္ရင္ resize လုပ္တဲ့ အခါ quality ေတာ္ေတာ္ကို က်သြားပါတယ္ တခ်ိဳ႔ပံုေတြဆို အရမ္းသိသာပါတယ္… ပံု ေသးခ်င္တဲ့ အခါ ကိုယ့္ဘာသာ ေသးယူရတာ မ်ားပါတယ္..

Blogger မွာ post ရဲ႕ permalink ကို ကိုယ့္ဘာသာ စိတ္ၾကိဳက္ သတ္မွတ္လို႔ မရပါဘူး သူက ပို႔စ္ title က အဂၤလိပ္လိုေရးရင္ အဲဒီအတိုင္းယူေပမယ့္ ၿမန္မာလို ေရးရင္ blog-post ဆိုၿပီး နံပါတ္ေတြနဲ႔ ေပးပါတယ္.. ကြ်န္ေတာ္ အဲဒီမွာ တစ္ခု စိတ္၀င္စားတာက ကိုAndy ဘေလာခ့္မွာေတာ့ ၿမန္မာလို title ေပမယ့္ permalink မွာ အဂၤလိပ္လို ၿဖစ္ေနတာပါ.. ဘယ္လိုလုပ္လည္းဆိုတာ ကိုAndy ေၿဖေပးပါ ခင္ဗ်ား =) တကယ္ေတာ့ permalink က ရိုးရိုး အက္ေဆး၊ ကဗ်ာ ေရးတဲ့ ဘေလာခ့္ေတြမွာ မသိသာေပမယ့္ နည္းပညာ၊ အဂၤလိပ္စာ အၿခား အေၾကာင္း အရာေတြေရးတဲ့ အခါ Search Engine မွာ Rank ရ ဖို႔၊ Search Engine နဲ႔ ရွာတဲ့ အခါ ကိုယ့္ဘေလာခ့္ကို ေရာက္ဖို႔ အတြက္ အေရးပါတဲ့ အေၾကာင္း အရာတစ္ခုပါ
6. Blogger မွာ ပို႔စ္ကို ေခါက္လို႔ မရတဲ့ အတြက္ ဘေလာခ့္ကို ဖြင့္ရင္ ပံုေတြ multimedia ဖိုင္ေတြ ထည့္ရင္ ထည့္သေလာက္ တက္တာ ၾကာပါတယ္.. ပို႔စ္ေခါက္တဲ့ peek a boo က အၿမင္မွာသာ ေခါက္ေပးထားတာပါ တကယ္တန္း page ကို download လုပ္ရင္ အားလံုးကို download လုပ္ရတာပါပဲ WP မွာ more ထည့္လိုက္ရင္ အဲဒီေအာက္က ဖိုင္ေတြ စာေတြအားလံုးကို ဘေလာခ့္ home page ဖတ္ရင္ ေဒါင္းလုဒ္ မဆြဲ တဲ့ အတြက္ တက္တာ ပိုၿမန္ပါတယ္… Blogger မွာ အဲဒီလို WP လုိ ေခါက္တဲ့ နည္းရွိပါတယ္(ကြ်န္ေတာ္ အရင္က blogger မွာတုန္းကထည့္ပါတယ္) ဒါေပမယ့္ သူ႔အားနည္းတဲ့ အခ်က္က ပို႔စ္က တိုတိုေလးေရးလည္း အဲဒီ Read More ဆိုတာက အၿမဲပါေနတဲ့ အခ်က္ပါ..
7. WordPress မွာ User Interface က နဲနဲ ရႈပ္ပါတယ္… Blogger ေလာက္မရွင္းဘူး ေနာက္ ကိုယ့္ဖာသာ host လုပ္ရတဲ့အတြက္ back up လည္းလုပ္ရပါတယ္ မလုပ္ရင္ ဆာဗာ တစ္ခုခုၿဖစ္ရင္ အကုန္ပါသြားပါလိမ့္မယ္.. hosting မွာ တင္ထားရတဲ့ အတြက္ ကိုယ္က ဆက္ၿပီး hosting ခမေပးေတာ့ရင္ ဘေလာခ့္လည္း ေပ်ာက္သြားပါလိမ့္မယ္.. Blogger ကေတာ့ Google က host လုပ္ေပးတာ ၿဖစ္လို႔ ကိုယ္ေသသြားသည့္တိုင္ေအာင္ blog က (Google မမြဲမခ်င္း) က်န္ခဲ့မွာ ၿဖစ္ပါတယ္..
8. Blogger မွာ trackback function ပါေပမယ့္ WP က trackback လို မေကာင္းပါဘူး.
9. Blogger မွာ GoogleAds ကို publisher-id သိရံုနဲ႔ အလြယ္တကူ ထည့္ႏိုင္ေပမယ့္.. WordPress.com မွာသံုးတဲ့သူေတြ အတြက္ကေတာ့ ထည့္လို႔ မရႏိုင္ပါဘူး.. self-hosted WP ေတြမွာေတာ့ ထည့္လို႔ရပါတယ္..
ကိုမ်ိဳးေက်ာ္ထြန္း ၿပန္ေၿဖထားတာေတြက ~
ညီေရးထားတာေတြ ေကာင္းပါတယ္။ အဲဒိလို လုပ္ခ်င္ရင္ ပထမဆံုး အဂၤလိပ္လို post title နဲ႕ publish လုပ္။ publish လုပ္ၿပီးတာနဲ႕ edit ကို ျပန္သြား ခ်က္ခ်င္းပဲ ျမန္မာလို ျပန္ေရးလိုက္ရံုပါပဲ။ 
အစ္ကို အရင္တုန္းက စမ္းဖူးလို႕ပါ။ ကို Andy ေတာ့ ဘယ္လို လုပ္သလဲ မသိဘူး။
၁။ Open source ျဖစ္တဲ့အတြက္ ႀကိဳက္သလို ျပင္ယူလို႕ရပါတယ္။
၂။ Core API ေတြနဲ႕ ပါတ္သက္တဲ့ Documentation ေတြ အျပည့္အစံုထားေပးတဲ့အတြက္ ၿပီးေတာ့လဲ tutorial resource ေတြ ေတာ္ေတာ္မ်ားမ်ား အင္တာနက္မွာ ရွိေနတဲ့အတြက္ plugin ေတြ ေတာ္ေတာ္ႀကီးကို မ်ားပါတယ္။ plugin ေတြမ်ားမ်ားရွိတဲ့အတြက္ Blog အသြင္ကေန CMS ပံုစံကို ေျပာင္းလို႕ရပါတယ္။
၃။ Free Theme ေတြကို theme developer ေတြ အားတိုင္း ထုတ္ေနတဲ့အတြက္ ေပါေပါမ်ားမ်ားကို ရႏိုင္ပါတယ္။
အေပၚမွာ ကြ်န္ေတာ္ေမးထားတာေတြကို ကိုAndy ကူညီေၿဖေပးထားတာပါ…. ~
ဟုတ္ပါတယ္။ ကိုမ်ိဳးေက်ာ္ထြန္း ေျပာသလိုပါပဲ။ ေနာက္တစ္ေခါက္ ျပန္၀င္ၿပီး ျပင္တာပါ။ ‘a’, ‘an’, ‘the’ ေတြကို အလုိလို ျဖဳတ္သြားတာ သတိထားမိပါတယ္။ တကယ္လို႔ အဂၤလိပ္လုိ Title မေပးမိရင္ Post Body ထဲမွာ English Word ေတြ ပါလားအရင္႐ွာၿပီး လံုး၀ မေတြ႔ရင္ Blog Post ဆိုၿပီး Counter တက္သြားတာ ေတြ႔မိတယ္။

I started using wordpress a few months ago (actually not even 3 months). At first I have no interest in it but I got a free host with from one of my friends who is also doing a reseller (he actually didn’t resell, just use it to host his blogs and websites: it is cheaper!). So I register a domain name and started playing around. I decided to try wordpress instead of blogger. Within a few days, I really fell in love with wordpress. There are a lot of space to play around as well as tons of free professional quality templates and useful widgets, which blogger lacks. In my opinion, both blogger and wordpress are useful: blogger for the new comers and wordpress for seasoned bloggers and professional bloggers. If you are seriously into blogging, you should consider wordpress. If you are just blogging for pleasure, blogger is enough for most occasions.
I started wordpress with Bamarlay – Myanmar Man’s Diary. Last month, I and my friends decided to launch a new blog about Myanmar using wordpress. The new blog is at Today in Myanmar. For the first one, I use IMWW theme while for the Today in Myanmar, I use Amazing Grace. I really love the wordpress themes compared to blogger, where it is difficult to find a really nice theme. Also in blogger, when you install a third party theme, all your widgets disappear. I lost my widgets once when I install a new template.
User interface in wordpress is more complicated than blogger, but it is more functional. Once you are accustomed to it, you love it. Wordpress now has a very nice track back function. The program will automatically ping those blogs in your article as well as those mentioned in the track back field.
For google adsense, you can either use text widget to add google ad-sense codes, or you can use a plug in (only available in own hosted sites). There are a number of plug ins that will handle it. I use “All in One Adsense and YNP” which handles the ads nicely. You can also add the ads in between the post contents.
