Google Buzz VS Your Privacy
Google Buzz ကို ဒီ ၂ ရက္အတြင္းမွာ ေတာ္ေတာ္လန္႔သြားတယ္။ အဓိကကေတာ့ privacy လံုးဝကို မလံုၿခံဳေတာ့ဘူး။ Google ဘာေတြလုပ္ေနလဲ မသိေတာ့ဘူး ဒီ ၂ ရက္အတြင္းမွာကို သူတို႔ တိတ္တိတ္ေလးေန႔ ၿပင္ေနတာ အမ်ားၾကီးပဲ။
Buzz ထဲမွာ ကြ်န္ေတာ့္ကို follow လုပ္ဖို႔ ကြ်န္ေတာ့္ကို ခြင့္ေတာင္းစရာမလိုဘူး။ follow လုပ္ၿပီးတာနဲ႔ ကြ်န္ေတာ္ တင္သမွ် Buzz messages ေတြအကုန္ ဖတ္လို႔ရသြားၿပီ။ ကြ်န္ေတာ္ မတင္ဘဲနဲ႔လဲ အၿခား Google က services ေတြ မွာ ကြ်န္ေတာ္လုပ္သမွ် Buzz မွာ update လုပ္ေနတယ္။ ဥပမာ Google Reader မွာ တစ္ခုခု share တာမ်ိဳးကို အကုန္ၾကည့္လုိ႔ ရေနတယ္။ ေနာက္ Gtalk Status message ကိုလဲ update လုပ္တယ္။
Google Profile မွာ ကိုယ့္ၿဖည့္ထားသေလာက္ information ကလဲ လူတိုင္းၾကည့္လုိ႔ရေနၿပီ။ အရင္က profile ကို hide လုပ္ထားလို႔ရတယ္။ အခု Buzz ထြက္လာေတာ့ profile က ကြ်န္ေတာ့္ message က နာမည္ကို ႏွိပ္လိုက္တာနဲ႔ တန္းၿပီး ၾကည့္ရံုပဲ ဖုန္းနံပါတ္ေတြ Geolocation ေတြမ်ား ထည့္ထားေသးရင္ ဘယ္နားေရာက္ေနတယ္ ဆိုတာပါသိရမယ္။ အရမး္ေၾကာက္ဖို႔ ေကာင္းတယ္ ေနာက္ Google က live Search လိုမ်ိဳးလုပ္ၿပီး လူတိုင္း messages ေတြကို ဝင္ရွာႏိုင္တဲ့ service မ်ိဳးလုပ္ႏိုင္ေသးတယ္။ မိုဘုိင္းဖုန္းကေန Nearby Search အခုလုပ္လိုက္ရင္ Buzz ကို မိုဘိုင္းဖုန္းသံုးေနတဲ့ သူေတြ (ၿမန္မာႏိုင္ငံသားေတြ) အကုန္ရွာလို႔ ရေနတယ္။
ေတာ္ေတာ္ေလးလန္႔သြားတယ္ ကြ်န္ေတာ္က VIP ပုဂိၢဳလ္လဲမဟုတ္ဘူး ကိုယ့္အေၾကာင္းကို ဖုံးထားမွ ၿဖစ္မယ့္ လူမ်ိဳးလဲ မဟုတ္ဘူး။ ဒါေပမယ့္ ကြ်န္ေတာ့္ အေၾကာင္းကို web ေပၚမွာ အကုန္ၾကည့္လို႔ ရေနတာကိုေတာ့ ေတာ္ေတာ္ေလးလန္႔သြားတယ္။ ေလာေလာဆယ္ Buzz ထဲမွာ Mashable လိုမ်ိဳးကို follow လုပ္လို႔ရတယ္။ သူတို႔ ဘာေတြ အသစ္တင္လဲဖတ္လို႔ရတယ္ comment ဝင္ေရးလိုက္ၿပီဆိုပါစို႔ အဲဒီ comment မွာပါတဲ့ ကြ်န္ေတာ့္ နာမည္ profile ကေန email ၿဖည့္ထားရင္ spam mail ပို႔လို႔ရၿပီ။ Geolocation နဲ႔ Buzz ကို update လုပ္ထားရင္ ကြ်န္ေတာ္ရွိတဲ့ ႏိုင္ငံကို လုိက္ၿပီး location based Spam ေၾကာ္ၿငာေတြ ပို႔လို႔ရၿပီ။ ေၿပာလို႔မရဘူး contact မွာပါတဲ့ ဖုန္းနံပါတ္ေတြကို mobile ဖုန္း ေၾကၿငာလုပ္တဲ့ သူေတြ location based နဲ႔ လိုက္ရွာၿပီး SMS ေၾကာ္ၿငာေတြ ပို႔လို႔ ရေနမယ္။ အနည္းဆံုး SMS နဲ႔ မင္းထီေပါက္ပါတယ္ ဆိုၿပီး လာတဲ့ အခ်ိန္ ထီထိုးထားမိရင္ ကြ်န္ေတာ္သာဆို ယံုမိေတာ့မွာပဲ။
Google Buzz က အမွန္ေတာ့ Twitter + FaceBook’s Like + Geolocation ေပါင္းထားတာပဲ။ Google က အခ်ိန္တို အတြင္းမွာ သူ႔ရဲ႕ Social Networking ဆိုဒ္ကို အၾကီးၾကီးၿဖစ္လာခ်င္ေတာ့ အတင္း force လုပ္ၿပီး ကြ်န္ေတာ္ ဘာမွ မသိလိုက္ရပဲ ကြ်န္ေတာ့္ Gtalk list ထဲက သူေတြကို follow လုပ္ထားၿပီးသားၿဖစ္ေနတာ ေတြ႔ရတယ္။ မလုပ္ရေသးတဲ့သူမ်ားဆိုလဲ Recommanded ဆိုၿပီး လာၿပေနေသးတယ္။ Spammer ေတြအတြက္ အေကာင္းဆံုး ဂြင္တစ္ခုလိုၿဖစ္ေနၿပီ bot မ်ားေရးထားၿပီး crawl လုပ္လိုက္ရင္ Buzz ကေန နာရီဝက္ေလာက္ အတြင္းမွာ email contact ေပါင္းသိန္းခ်ီရႏိုင္တယ္။ ၿပီးရင္ အဲဒီေကာင္ေတြ ကို business ေတြဆီ ေဒၚလာ ရာဂဏန္းေလာက္နဲ႔ ေရာင္းစား ပိုက္ဆံရွာလို႔ရတယ္။
ထြက္တာ ၂ ရက္ပဲရွိေသးတဲ့ Buzz ရဲ႕Privacy သတင္းကေတာ့ web ေပၚမွာ ေတာ္ေတာ္ေလးၿပန္႔ေနတယ္။ အခု ကြ်န္ေတာ္ေရးထားတာေတာင္ personal အၿမင္ပဲ ရွိေသးတယ္ security professional ေတြရဲ႕ articles ေတြ အခုပဲ “Google Buzz Privacy” ဆိုၿပီး ရွာလိုက္တာေတာင္ result 66,300,000 အဲဒီေလာက္ထြက္ေနၿပီ။ ကြ်မ္းက်င္တဲ့သူေတြ ေရးထားတာကို ရွာဖတ္ၾကည့္ေလ Buzz က ေၾကာက္စရာေကာင္းလာလာေလေလ ၿဖစ္လာတာနဲ႔ ကြ်န္ေတာ္ကေတာ့ Buzz ကို လံုးဝပိတ္လိုက္ၿပီ။ ပိတ္ခ်င္ရင္ Gmail ေအာက္ဆံုးမွာ turn off buzz ဆိုၿပီး ရွိပါတယ္။ အဲဒီကေန ပိတ္လို႔ရပါတယ္။ ကြ်န္ေတာ္ကေတာ့ Buzz သံုးလိုက္ကတည္းက online privacy နဲ႔ပက္သက္ၿပီး shock ရသြားတယ္ ပထမဆံုးဘဲ။ Google လိုမ်ိဳးက သူ႔ product ေအာင္ၿမင္ဖို႔ဆို ကြ်န္ေတာ္တို႔ privacy ကို ခ်နင္းဖို႔ ဝန္ေလးပံု မရဘူး။

I am agree with you that Google is forcing and set default to encourage disclosing the information and trying to become big microblogging site.
Connected sites like Twitter, YouTube, Picasa, GoogleReader, Blogspot, GtalkStatus, Flicker, etc can be removed if we don’t wanna include in Buzz.
I also don’t like connecting google profile with Buzz bu contact information is revealed only our contacts and we can clear public info like About me, Sites and change the profile pic if we don’t wanna let it know to everyone. We can also hide the followers and the people we follow.
Anyway, spammers can’t get email address from Google Profile as contact information is revealed only our contacts.
We can also set our posts as private and limit to “My Contacts” if we don’t like to reveal our buzzes to unknown followers.
Google has already arranged well for privacy settings but their fault is setting default to share all and having no proper FAQ or video tutorial for privacy restriction.

Well, don’t get so shock, bro. It’s been ages I use Google profile since it came out. And anyone can guess my email address by looking at the profile url. I haven’t experienced any single spammers yet. Google’s spam security teams is one of the best. I just get most annoyed getting forwarded email in my inbox from my friends than spammers.
you can also control who can see your contact info such as phone number and address under profile edit.
if you share something on the service like google reader publicly, anyone can search, look for them and see them, don’t even need buzz. Because you share or public it on the web in the first place. Like this blog post, so that now i can read and commenting it.
A good news is you have given a choice to update on buzz publicly or privately, so that only people you want can see them. You can even choose which buzz to post public and which one to private.
if you don’t want to show up this blog posts or any of your google reader shared items or your google chat statuses, you just don’t incorporate or aggregate or (as in google connect) any of them into your buzz feed or account.
And i think you know all that cause I guess your are an IT guy. Your post is a bit biased for your readers. And that’s just my view, anyone can differ them. Right now, lets enjoy the Google buzz ride. Go Google, go!

I believe it is going to be even getting better down the road, basically I’m saying here is that Google just made available a blog to every GMail user. Buzz is too big to miss an opportunity and it deserve a second chance. So I really recommend you guys go for it and buzz on.
