Mozilla ရဲ႕ Firefox Web Browser က ဒီလထဲမွာပဲ ၅ ႏွစ္ၿပည့္ပါတယ္။ ဒီ browser က လက္ရွိအခ်ိန္မွာ market share လဲ ေတာ္ေတာ္မ်ားမ်ားရထားတဲ့ အၿပင္ developers အမ်ားစုရဲ႕ လက္ဆြဲ browser ၿဖစ္ေနပါၿပီ။ ေနာက္ Web Standards ေတြ လိုက္နာတဲ့ အၿပင္ HTML 5, CSS 3 တို႔လို draft ေတြပါ အၿမဲ support လုပ္ေပးနဲ႔ browser တစ္ခုပါ။
ဒီေန႔ေတာ့ အလုပ္မ်ားလို႔ ပင္ပန္းေနတာေၾကာင့္ အၿခားအေၾကာင္းအရာေတြ မေရးၿဖစ္ပဲ Firefox မွာ Themes ေၿပာင္းတဲ့ Plug In တစ္ခုၿဖစ္တဲ့ Personas (Read More Here!!) အတြက္ လုပ္ထားတဲ့ theme တခ်ိဳ႕ကို စုထားလိုက္ပါတယ္။
Mozilla ကေန Firefox အတြက္ Add Ons Collections Packs ေတြကိုု စၿပီး လုုပ္ေပးေနတာ ေတြ႔ရပါတယ္။ Add-On ေတြ အမ်ိဳး အစားလိုုက္ၿပီး တြဲ ေပးထားတာပါ။ Web Developer’s Toolbox, Family Pack, Traveller’s Pack စသၿဖင့္ လိုုက္ဖက္တဲ့ Add on ေတြတြဲ ေပးထားတာပါ။

Mozilla systems were quite busy earlier this morning so individual requests may not have gotten through – but they are all up now and serving a tremendous amount of traffic and downloads. We are currently serving almost 9,000 downloads a minute, which puts us on track to achieve 5-7 million downloads our first day of general availability.

The Firefox Support team (support.mozilla.com, or SUMO for short) would like to invite you to our first SUMO day! This Friday, starting at 7 AM PDT, we’ll be hosting a day all about getting to know SUMO and learning how to use our site to help other Firefox users enjoy their favorite browser.
If you haven’t already, this is a great opportunity for you to get involved with Mozilla, regardless of your interests or expertise. We need people to write articles, create screenshots, correct spelling and grammar, answer people’s questions in the forum, or interact directly with Firefox users in live chat — just to name a few of the many ways you could help us out. Even if you’re just curious to learn more about the project and don’t really plan on participating, we’d be really excited to have you joining us on Friday.

New Features in Firefox 3 Beta 5
* Improvements to the user interface based on user feedback, including changes to the look and feel on Windows Vista, Windows XP, Mac OS X and Linux.
* Changes and fixes for new features such as the location bar autocomplete, bookmark backup and restore, full page zoom, and others, based on feedback from our community.
* Fixes and improvements to platform features to improve security, web compatabilty and stability.
* Continued performance improvements: changes to our JavaScript engine as well as profile guided optimization continues to improve performance over previous releases as measured by the popular SunSpider test from Apple, and in the speed of web applications like Google Mail and Zoho Office.
Today, Firefox start vote for Official Firefox 3 T-Shirt Design. You can vote one design of 5. Above design is my favorite design, i voted that. The finalists have been chosen and voting has begun! We received close to 2,000 submissions from a growing global community of over 3,400 members on the Flickr contest group. Picking the top 5 was a very challenging task as there were many amazing designs to choose from. But the final decision is up to you!

Firefox 3 T-shirt Design Competition

Mozilla release Firefox 3 Beta 3 for testing. FF 3 Beta 3 targeted to Web developers and our testing community to gain feedback before advancing to the next stage in the release process. This one’ve a lot of useful features. You know, I already posted about FF 3 beta 2 review. now, I’ll not write review about 3 beta 3 this time. You can see the list of new features . [Improved in Beta 3!] Firefox 3 Beta 3 includes approximately 1300 individual changes from the previous beta, including fixes for stability, performance, memory usage, platform enhancements and user interface improvements. Many of these improvements were based on community feedback from the previous beta.

Identity verification is prominently displayed and easier to understand.
